Crumbed fish fillets


SERVING SIZE: 4

PREP TIME: 20 mins

COOK TIME: 15-20 mins

TOTAL TIME: 40 mins




Ingredients


  • White fish fillets about 800 grams [ I used flake]

  • 1/4 cup oil

  • 1 1/2 cups plain flour

  • 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt [adjust to taste]

  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

  • 2 eggs beaten with 1 tablespoon water



Method


Place the flour on a sheet of baking paper and the breadcrumbs on baking paper


Wash the fish fillets and pat dry, then season them with salt and pepper

Coat the fillets with flour


Dip the floured fillet in the egg and then Coat the fillets with breadcrumbs

Place the crumbed fish fillets in the fridge for about 30 minutes


Heat the oil in the frypan then gently fry the fillets till golden , this will take about 15-20 minutes

Once cooked place on paper towel to absorb the excess oil


Serve with a fresh salad
